How about some more type XV's, made by putting different furniture on the Poitier hilt? For instance, making it look like Oakeshott's Records XV.2 by giving it a V.2 pommel and short type 11 guard. Or give it a fig pommel like the one on the Talhoffer.

Once the Maestros start coming out, how about a Maestro XVIa?

This is good news I will consider any single handed design of the period and am especially interested in pieces with non disc pommels that, I believe, more often seem to reflect the originals. Looking at swords of the 11th, 12th, and 13th C. most seem to have some kind of variance on the brazil nut, tea cozy, or cocked hat.

Maybe one of these with a gilded pommel as many of the period were.

After the Dane is released, I would like to see some more "true" two-handers.

Actually, I'll be pretty happy when they finish up with the current NG lineup, the concepts and not-yet-in-production models. I am especially eager for the Knecht (have that one on order and have been waiting a looooonnng time), the Valkyrja, the Chieftan, the Munich and the Dane.Of course, then it will be great to see new models come along as well, the more the merrier.

I'll second that. I'm also waiting for my Knecht, along with some others still in the works.

Migration era designs and anything bronze please. :D

I think a bronze pommel on the kingmaker would look really nice.

A migration era sword would be a nice addition to the NG line. Can't afford a 2500 euro Patrick Barta sword sadly...

the most obvious thing about looking like original pieses is that they bear littke reseblence to what is being produced as replicas, its nice to see intorest in the less produced stiles.

Anyone else for what I consider an all-time classic of the middle ages: a type XII blade matched with a type I pommel and a round section type 2 cross? Basically a slightly earlier NG Knight. No other production company has gotten it right yet, how about you Albion?

The broad blade, double fullers, elongated grip (but not two-handed), flare towards the base of the blade...all very, very nice.

You should know that I read this with interest and compare with work already in progress or preparation.
A few of you might be pleasantly surpriced as new models are added in the not too distant future: some suggestions closely echo what is already in early stages of development.

Peter, are there any oakshotts type N's or O's? Those look to be quite fascinating pommel types. I have not see too many swords with these, maybe albion would want to go even more unique?

How about some Byzantine and Russian curved-edge weapons? And some Frank/Carolingian spatas? These are two areas that there are very few options out there.

Viking Type-M pommel on the Clontarf blade. From a production standpoint this would seem to be an easy one to undertake.

I too am waiting excitedly for the Valkyrja, and would always love more types of Viking swords as well as more Anglo-Saxon swords, since currently there is only one (that I've seen at least!).

I would also like some seax, please. ;)
