I was just over at A&A website and saw this notice:

Shakespeare's Globe Theatre, London have chosen Arms & Armor Inc. to consult and provide the weapons for their productions.

Let me ask Craig or any other A&A person who cares to reply: Will you be providing them with swords from your standard line, swords such as the Dresden and Gustav Vasa rapiers from your stage combat section, or something completely new?

Hello Roger

The stated goal of The Globe, for which they travel to outstanding lengths, is to create on stage the very essence of the Elizabethan Theatre. They will be outfitting their armoury with a group of rapiers and daggers with scabbards and hanger systems from the regular line of rapiers and daggers. The hanger systems are all new based on historical examples. The scabbards will be some done as per period originals wood core, tongues up the tang and such and some of the leather variety.

We feel very privileged to work with the Globe Theatre, as their standards of authenticity and production are beyond the ordinary to say the least. They have dedicated themselves to productions as they would have been in the day of the bard himself and little is spared to achieve this goal. We are continually impressed by their commitment to this goal and the depth of their integrity.

We began doing items for them a couple of years ago and they were impressed enough that they have asked us to consult and be their provider for weapons and such exclusively. It makes us a bit humble to be involved with such a class act. The incredible work that has been done to bring The Globe to life again is really inspiring and we hope all will benefit from the development and productions that will follow.

Best
Craig

Greetings Craig Johnson, As an owner of 3 of your works, I firmly believe Arms & Armor is more than equal to the task. Wink Sincerely, Patrick Fitzmartin
