I've moved this topic to the Off-topic Talk forum.
Please note the description for this forum:
"Discussions of general history and other miscellaneous topics relating to arms and armour that do not specifically fit our other forums"
The Historic Arms Talk forum is described:
"Discussions of reproduction and authentic historical arms and armour from various cultures and time periods"

I remember reading an article about this earlier this year. Very, very cool.
They need more workers so they can finish it within a shorter ammount of time What say we all quit our jobs and go to France!

I've seen this before some time ago, but there was not much progress then.
They seem to be moving along fairly quickly.

It's a mere 3 hours drive west from Dijon (yeah, only about 100 milesn but the roads there are cr*p), and mates of mine go there from time to time. I even know poeple who are good friends with the workers. I'll try to ask them some pics - unless I manage to go there by myself beforehand.
The project has raised quite the debate in the scientific medieval community here. Due to safety reasons, many 'historical' aspects had to go down the sink, and for finanical reasons they're not 100% medieval in their ways of doing a few things.
Still, having a castle built in fron of your eyes (nearly) is utterly cool ......
