All the echat about glaiv's and other broad-bladed cutting devices has had me looking for the web page that featured a collection of pictures of Falchions. Does anyone remember or have the link to said Falchion page.

Cheers
Jim

I know the page you're searching for, but I can't find it either. Hopefully somebody can point out the Web page with the various drawings and photos of authentic falchions on it

I believe this is the site you're looking for:

http://armourer.fromru.com/collections/falchions/index.html

Great reference, but not too easy to find.

Interesting to note the "glaive" of the other thread is referred to as a two-hand sabre in the link!

My pleasure. I needed to relocate it, too.

"Endeavor to Persevere" (one of the great movie lines of the last 30 years. From "The Outlaw Josie Wales")

Greetings! I have placed this "glaive" on my page because I extend my collection with all exotic blades I've met in manuscripts. Though I don't think it is glaive - it has too short handle for a polearm, imho.

Forgive my English, please.
