Hi all,
I just finished this piece up.
Its 17.25" long with an 11.25" blade.
5160 differentially etched
Leather grip over a stabilized wood core.
I named it Kronos because that is what the voices in my head told me. So who am i to argue. 
The fittings are hand carved, filed and finished from w1 round bar. Hope you like it.

Perhaps not. But the pattern on the blade is very evokative of something a Dark Eldar would put on his blade.

Very impressive and attractive: I like the whole package but I do have questions about how the pattern on the blade was achieved. If I was more knowledgeable about how different patterns are created through forging the means to this great result might be obvious to me: So pardon if I am asking what might be obvious to a blade smith.

Thanks everyone for the compliments, i am very happy that you all like it.
When designing this one it did'nt occur to me that it resembled a dark elf, dark eldar / eldar blade . It is very cool that it does though now that you mention it.
Jean that pattern was achieved by using a resist that i painted on with a very tiny brush, then deeply etched in ferric chloride.
