The subject says it all. Tallinn, Estonia. Thatīs where i'm going to visit next weekend. So, if someone knows any interesting sword/knife/other sharp implement related places or shops to visit, it would be nice to know. It will be my first visit to Tallinn, and I would hate to spend the whole time just bouncing around with no destination to go...

I noticed the military antiques -shop, but the prices on their website where quite high, I would say...At least on a student budget..ha ha.

Well, I know of a decent museum at last, but I can't seem to recall the name properly. Kook in the Keek? Oh well, it's housed in an old tower up by the hill which houses the government buildings and such, a pretty fat, round one. Had some kind of modern art exhibit on the bottom floor, but it does contain a few nice swords and armour, and the tower itself (15th or 16th century IIRC) is well worth the entry fee in itself (the fact that the entry fee was pretty much symbolic didn't hurt either). Attaching a pic a friend of mine took from a window in said tower (I think), to help localise it a bit, since I'm pretty sure that's the only "Onion top"-church around.

Anyway, as I didn't own a decent camera when I visited the place, please make sure to take plenty of pics if you visit, and share. Cool

I also visited an old church in the old town, not too far from "the hill", which was now used as a museum for old art, including some rather lovely, armoured, renditions of St George and such. They also had a room with gold and silver craftmanship, church cups and such, there.

I'd also recommend Hansa House (or was it Olde Hansa?) for a nice, 15th century style dinner. Not the cheapest, but I liked it.
