Do any of our European friends have a museum catalog number for this gauntlet? It's at the Alte Pinakotec in Munchen. I'm writing a technical article and this is one of my primary examples.

I don't know but this one looks almost the same as the gauntlets on the Gothic Harnesses worn by Sigmund von Tyrol and emperor Maximilian I. Both armours were made by Lorenz Helmschmid from Augsburg. I think it's very likely that he made this gauntlet. The similarities between these pieces are simply too high to be a coincidence.

I should have some pics on my hd. I'll try to find them and then post them.

Edit: No, I don't have a catlogue number, sorry.
