Can anyone help me date these French foils? I suspect thay they are late 19th century. Marks on the blades:
5, crowns on staffs, Coulaux & C, Klingenthal. Blades are 34 1/2 inches, total length is 42 1/2 inches.

They are french style foils, meaning the style is french not where they were made. The number 5 is in reference to the size of the blade, 35 inches, the longest allowed in competition. Probably dating to around the early 1900's.
