That one is not a specific reproduction of any model existing in a museum but has all the specifications to be used by any serious reenactor. The blade is made of high carbon tempered 1060 spring steel. The total overall of the weapon is 23'' 1/2 for a blade lenght of 16'' 7/8. The weight is around 1lbs 7oz. the handle is made of oil finished cherry wood and the guard and the pommel are made of steel and brass. The fitting of the weapon is incredibly tight. The scabbard is made of cherry wood and oiled boiled leather.
That one will be a gorgeous piece of my collection.

His work seems to be excellent from the photos.
That does look good. His work seems to have a great deal of variety. I like it. Hopefully he gets a website soon.

Thanks for sharing, Marc,

Nice helmets...what is their cost?
I think his german sallets are around 700$ USD and his raised ones are around 1800$-2000$ but I should be wrong. I think the better way to know that is to contact him. His email is franklemalade@hotmail.com
