Hello everyone,
As most of you know, I teach school at the Chiang Mai International School in Thailand, and pursue swordmaking in my spare time. Vacations are prime time for sword work, and I can generally get in 4-6 hours per day when I'm not doing things with my family. This Christmas vacation I needed to go to California to help with the legalities of getting my elderly father settled in a nursing home. I figure I lost about 60 hours of work time, as I was gone 12 days.
This means I'm now way behind on my custom hilts and swords for this year, and I'll probably have to bump several projects into the next work year.
If you're one of those whose project will be bumped, I'll get in touch with you. If you don't hear from me, then you'll be receiving your hilt/sword in the spring or early summer.

Hey Eljay.
I hope everything turned out ok with getting your father settled. I for one feel that the type of people that would order from you, are also the kind of people that will show understanding for situations like this.
In the mean time, just make sure you take good care of yourself and your family.
PS, as soon as Gus' sends me the proto-mort, I'll drop you a PM with my thoughts on the hilt.
