Our newest catalog, with color photos, is now available for download as a pdf! The size is 4.9MB so plan accordingly if you have a dialup connection. Hope you enjoy looking through it. You may also get a b/w paper copy mailed to you by contacting us at aa@armor.com

The new items will be appearing on the website over the next few days and we look forward to hearing what you think.

Happy New Year

Craig and the gang at Arms & Armor Inc.

PS if the above link does not work the News and Update page on our site www.arms-n-armor.com should work (he says with crossed fingers :-) )

Hi Craig,

Thanks for sending me a paper catalog a few weeks back. The catalog looks real good in color. I really like the new Milanese & German parrying daggers. They compliment the rapiers perfectly.

Hello Guys

Hope you are all having a geat New Years celebration. Björn might even be toasting the new year already.

Well after much typing and swearing here is what I have found so far

If you encounter the error "Error reading linearized hint data", when trying to view Adobe PDF files, see below for details on how to correct this.

Adobe Reader Errors

Why do I get "Error reading linearized hint data" when I try to open a PDF file using Adobe Acrobat Reader 5?

If you are using Internet Explorer or Netscape to go to a URL containing a PDF file, you may get an error message, "Error reading linearized hint data" when you try to open some PDF files using Adobe Acrobat Reader. You can correct this problem in Adobe Acrobat Reader 5 by doing the following: Open the Adobe Acrobat Reader, click Edit, click Preferences, click General (if required), click Options, uncheck "Allow Fast Web View.", and click OK to save the changes.

Why do I get "Error reading linearized hint data" when I try to open a PDF file using Adobe Acrobat Reader 6?

If you are using Internet Explorer or Netscape to go to a URL containing a PDF file, you may get an error message, "Error reading linearized hint data" when you try to open some PDF files using Adobe Acrobat Reader. You can correct this problem in Adobe Acrobat Reader 6 by doing the following: Open the Adobe Acrobat Reader, click Edit, click Preferences, select "Internet" in the table on the left, uncheck "Allow Fast Web View.", and click OK to save the changes.

This was suggested by several spots on the web as the best user fix. I will be trying to manipulate the file to eleviate the problem but this is something I have not been able to find a solid solution to so far. I guess pdfs are not as universal as I thought. The issue is less of a problem if you have the whole Acrobat program loaded as apposed to just the reader and I believe it can be done by downloading the file and using acrobat to view it as apposed to reading it through Netscape or Explorer. Avant seems to work fine.

If anyone has trouble with the above drop me an email and I will send you a copy, remember the whole is 5MB.

Happy New Year
Craig

Hi Craig,

I received the catalog awhile back, and as usual there's a lot of neat stuff in there. I particularly like the Ballock knife set.
That's *exactly* what I've been looking for.

Happy New Year!

No adjustments needed - worked like a charm! Nice catalogue, BTW.

The cover has a nice angle on the french medieval sword. She looks very seductive in that pose. That one and the english longsword has been calling to me for a while now.

Hi Craig,

Love the new catalog, and the new pictured links to the swords on your webpage, always good to see new pics of your swords. Seeing that catalogue just slams home how many of your swords that I want to own.
