Hey,

First of all I'd like to say that this is a wicked site. Congrats.

I'm not sure if it is cool to post this question here but I was wondering if anyone knows of any clubs/societies/instructors in Ireland where I can learn to use a sword properly?

It has always been on my 'something I'd like to learn' list but wasn't sure how to go about it.

Anyway, all help is appreciated

Cheers,

Brendan

Gor here : www.thearma.org and log on to the forum (use your full name, the admin is strict on that) and ask there. If you can´t find any there you could always start your own groupe. Lots of us around who would be glad to help you!

Wellcome to a wonderful hobbie!

Dear Brendan,

There's a chap named Neville Gawley in Limerick who runs a school. He posts fairly regularly on Swordforum and if you sign up there you can send him a private message. Most of the well known western swordsmanship instructors post on the Historical European Swordsmanship board at Swordforum.

Cheers
Stephen

Thanks for the response Martin and Stephen.

The Arma site looks interesting. I think I know a few lads who might be interested in setting up a workgroup.

Thanks for the tip on the Swordforum, checking it out shortly Cool

Cheers,

Bren
