WOW! That's hot.
I usually am not into Roman stuff but that is a real eye-catcher. Christian never ceases to amaze me.
Thanks for sharing.

Matt you take some great pictures and have some really nice swords. You need to set up an Album on this forum.

Thanks, Jason. Oddly enough there's no great trick to my pictures turning
out so good, I wear my magic shorts ... no wait, that's when I go to work. B-)

The pics are a matter of lighting, really. It helps if the day is overcast, or if
you work just a bit before sundown so you're not dealing with direct sunlight,
but early evening shadows.

The gents at myArmoury did contact me about starting an Album, but honestly
my collection is pretty small. I try to keep things manageable with regards to
the amount of my space, I currently have 15 swords ... not much when you
look at Nathan Robinson's collection, or Patrick Kelly's ... B-)

Quality over quantity my friend (not that Nathan's or Patrick's collections aren't quality). Besides I want to see all of those nice scabbards that you've had Christian put together.

We did indeed talk about featuring your collection online in our gallery. The issue wasn't the number of swords, but needing to have daggers and/or knives, and some "other" items like armour, axes, etc.

If you ever pick some of those items up, you have a standing invitation to shoot me a PM to get it going. Happy

For what it's worth, you have twice the number of swords that I do, and my collection is online here. Jason is correct, it's not about quantity (apart from needing at least 10 items with at least 1 per category), it's about quality/diversity of items, and quality of photography.

Happy
