I have the Dark Age sword. I'll write a full review of it someday I'm sure. In the meantime here's a brief impression. Heavy. Now mind you this is after my wife gave me an Albion Migration D sword which is just the sweetest piece ever. I've always liked the Migration D hilt with it's sandwiched wood or metal guard and pommel and the brass and steel on the MRL look decent together. Brass is very shiny and slippery in the hand. I'm pretty sure I got it on sale for less than the current list price on MRL's site (230-ish if I recall). It's a hefty, gaudy piece of barbariana and despite its shortcomings in weight, shinyness, and slippery handgrip it's a keeper. I dunno if I'd pay full boat on the price though.
Hope this helps,
Gene
