I just got the latest catalog from Chris and the boys up in Minnesota. It's the first one featuring that new English Longsord and that Durer sword. Also it seems that they are now offering a ballock dagger which I don't remember ever seeing before. It looks very nice indeed.

I recieved mine a few days ago. They also have several new companion daggers, #198 Gustav parrying dagger, #196 German parrying dagger & #197 Milanese parrying dagger.

Did you notice my quote on the first page about the English Longsword?
I opened the catalog and did a double take - "Hey that was me!"
That really is a great sword - a review when I get some time.

Okay folks so which one? I know that the new Albion stuff is pulling a lot of people in, in fact my next sword right after my custom order is as semi-custom sort of thing from Albion. However I've got my next order from Arms and Armor lined up too. Mine is going to be the Sword of St. Maurice. How about you? Which Arms and Armor sword are you buying next?

Well.... After the custom piece, I think I'm going to go for the Gustav Vasa set with scabbards, maybe I'll get them from this here Tritonworks place I keep hearing about... 
Albion is definately on my list... just not for another two years...

If I had the money at this moment, I would order the ballock dagger set - I have not seen a commercially available package like that anywhere. Just wonderful.

Most of my money is going into Albion these days, but if I were to buy something from A&A, it would be the English longsword. I am still toying with the idea of asking them to make me a custom 18th century hanger, like the original pictured below

How do you get on their catalog mailing list?
Any charge? Seems like they have a ton of great stuff in their printed catalog that isn't on their website

Gordon are you referring to the big 2-hander? I ma in teh process of ordering that one adn with luck I will have it int eh next few months. I have been in love with this sword for some time. I love dealing with Craig and the guys over at A&A. please tell us smoe more about this greate sword.

Joel I can't really speak for Gordon but I think he is probably talking about that new English longsword they have available.
Chuck I'm guessing that you just have to order from them to get the catalog, no additional charge. I say that based on the fact that I got Jon Granken's catalog today as well. He had a dagger shipped straight to me from them a couple of years ago.
Oooo Gustav Vasa.... been wanting to get my hands on one of those for a while...

I have a custom A&A coming in a few more weeks. Was due about now ,but when I checked with Craig the other day he told me they actually got a mold of a very similar original pommel that had extra detail he intially did not think of. Craig explained to me that whoever made they original really knew what he was doing and he wanted to incorporate what he had learned. This is happy circumstance because when we started the project back in July we had nothing more than a drawing to go from.
After that I think I'm going to get a Saxon Parrying Dagger. I've had my eye on it for a while.
Then late next year (Q3) I have a custom rapier design in the works with them, just gonna take time to get the funds together to get it started.

Joel - no not the two hander, the English longsword is a fairly lightweight bastard sword. A very nice "cut and thrust with either one or two hands" all around sword.

Hi Chuck,
IIRC, you can order the catalog at their website for a nominal charge ($5?). I'm sure I'm getting them due to previous business.
Mine just showed up, here in the northeast. It really has me scratching my head.
The picture on page 16 and the text on page seventeen are ever so confusing. The picture, or the specs are way out of whack (it's gotta be the picture)
I'm fresh out of funds but I'm sure there will be another from them sometime.

Also been toying with the idea of having them make some throwing axes for me. Still the rapier will be the next big project and I'm really looking forward to it. This summer I managed to handle a good number of their pieces at the Bristol Faire and the rapiers (all of them) were really marvelous.
