The old Del Tin/MRL Irish swords
Anyone have pics of these? At one time they offered three Irish inspired swords, The "E" or "Key" guard ring hilt, the more commonly seen "S" guard ring hilt, and another "Irish short sword". These are from the early nineties I'm guessing? Also, WAY BACK, say 1988 or so they offered a version of the "Portglenone" or "River Suck" sword. Any and all info would be great.

Also does anyone own these pieces by chance?
You know I posted a similiar question awhile, well, years back and got the same level of response. What gives?
Perhaps the question is as unpopular as the swords were? :D

Have you tried to contact Del Tin directly?
I had the key ring hilt type for a number of years and moved it on to our journeyman Jason as a gift who still has it . I'll try and remember to have him bring it over this weekend and take a couple of pics of it to post. I liked it a great deal(i'll probably always have a soft spot for Del Tin's as they were the first real blades I owned) and it felt nice in the hand.

Awwww...Patrick you're so cruel! They weren't as dissappointing back then as they are now though!!! :p

Thanks Allen. Appreciate it.
Here it is. Overall length is 39 3/8" with a blade length of 32 1/4" and weights 2.5 lbs-ish(electric scale). Hope this helps you out.

My pleasure as always Mac. Sad thing is I remember salivating over this sword in the MRL catalog when it was new and it seems like yesterday (I AM NOT OLD,I AM NOT OLD,I AM NO.....).
