Hello All,
I began this sword project several months ago and have only gotten back to it this week.
I have posted quite a few pictures on another forum hosted by knifemaker Don Fogg and I hope you enjoy them:
http://forums.dfoggknives.com/index.php?showtopic=3546&st=0

If someone wishes they can repost them here....I lack the computer skills to do so effeciently.

Cheers,
Ric

Hey Ric

Long time no type my friend. That is impressive work. Really looks fantastic. The blade is massive. What kind of a finished blade weight are you shooting for?

Damn. I will have to come visit and see that one.

Hope all else is good.

Keep well
Craig

Wow that should be an awesome looking sword. I'm looking forward to pictures of the finished product.

Hello Craig and all,
The blade is 836 grams now after grinding and will be a bit less yet after polish.
It should be about right when finished.
The fuller is deep.

This piece will go to an art show that is running this month here in Door County.

Ric

Rick,
This is splendid work. Very inspiring!
I would love to see this one in person.

And to have such an incredible set of furniture for the mounting...

A treasure.

I love the shape and proportion of that blade Rick. Massive yet still graceful.

Neat!
