Hello All,
I am hesitant to post this here since it is really not the historical type of blade.
If it breaks the rules then please remove it.
Here is a wootz hunter with an ebony and ivory handle and purple colored guard from wrought iron. Blade is stamped with "FURRER" logo.
Blade is 5 1/4
Over all 10 1/4
No sheath, but I can make one from various materials.
A client was in line for this one, but could not complete the purchase.
$700
I have a few wootz pieces in the works including a shamshir which I hope to have finished for the Ashokan gathering this September in NY. I have been asked to give a talk on wootz for that event and am looking forward to such. I hope some of you can attend.
I have quite a bit of information about wootz and my experience with it which I hope to have added to my website soon.

Ric,
I think it's okay here as an announcement of a for-sale item. Here's a quick quote from the What is this forum? thread:

Thanks for posting it.

I love the looks of that Ric. If you still have it around next time you take a drive down here -- bring that baby with you. I would love to get a good look at that one bud.
