You can still see SPQR in some surprising places. There was a string of stone covers over what sounded like sewer drains (still in use) near a hotel I stayed in in Rome with SPQR and a date from Tiberias' reign on them ! Our European civil infrastructure is long due for an overhaul !

OK, I am gonna sound stupid here, but I am fairly new, nah I am "new"! LOL. However I have over a dozen pieces from Arms & Armor, I entered this new found boundless fascination of mine with a bang! Who is John? Who made this Roman Sword? How much did it cost? Does it take long to get once ordered?
This is one gorgeous gladius if I ever saw one and I mean every word! STUNNING! Could you give me the website to this artisan? Though I cannot order any more swords until next year or I am going to be walking around with a sword hilt protruding out of my pants via my wife. LOL. However, I did order the last Danish War Axe that Arms & Armor had in stock, due to arrive Monday, hey, but that is not a "sword"! LOL.

Seriously, your new gladius is nothing short of stunning! I'd like to have the website please.

A history professor of mine said that when he was in Iran there were still places where you could still see SPQR on ruins, which is essentially the "Official" name of the Roman Empire.
