Hello,
I am looking for a replica 18th century French/European smallsword. I own several original silver hilted smallswords, and I have found that most replicas do not compare when it comes to weight and balance. I own the Scotish Court Sword made by Paul Chen but it is very chunky and heavy and does not handle like an original 18th century weapon at all. What about the new Cold Steal replica french smallsword. It looks more apealing, but from the weight seems a bit heavy. What about Del Tin's repblica? Any one handle these?
Many thanks!

Hullo,
You might want to visit www.chevalierdauvergne.com, their "mousquetaire" smallsword looks quite nice, and it's affordable as well.
