The seller, who resides in Ireland, picked up the piece via an old estate sale in West Chester, PA. last summer, along with several other cool swords (one of which also sold on Ebay, recently !)
For the very decent price of $1,400.00 I was able to add this nice old war horse(man) to my collection ....
The sword, although far from pristine, has a heck of alot of character to it, and gives off that certain attitude vibe of ... "I've been around a good long while, laddie, and I've seen my share of s*#! , so don't ye mess with me, now" ... Yup, right down to its re-ground tip !
I've compiled a slew of pictures of it, along with some of the basic stats, which can be viewed Here !
Any questions or comments .... please fire away !
