Schiavona Identification Help
I purchased this used Schiavona at auction for a good price, but am not versed on this particular style sword much. I've google searched a few modern name brands (windlass, cold steel, wulfund, deepeeka, albion, deltin, etc...) trying to find some similar makes, but have turned up empty. Does this look particular sword look familiar to anyone?

It measures 39" overall and is 2 lbs 12 oz. The wire wrapping is tight and it feels very nimble in hand. The pommel is peened, there is no rattle, and there is no maker mark anywhere on it. (no running wolf, like I was hoping for).

Any insight would be most welcome. Thank you

I think this is a "Frankenstein" that is put togehter from different parts.

The basket looks like it comes from DelTin 5173, and the blade is from another sword. I kind of recognize those triple fullers, but I can't put my finger on it at the moment.

For reference:

I can't help you with a maker, but that's a great looking sword. I'm a sucker for multiple fullers. Nice acquisition.

Schiavona ID
Bjorn,

The fullers also looked somewhat familiar to me. They are similar to those on a Del Tin 5141, although that blade is perhaps twice the width of the this Schiavona ....

Thanks for the input guys. I did contact Del Tin and sent them pictures. This morning I heard their response:

“Dear Caleb,
Thank you for the photos of the schiavona sword. It is a nice piece.
I confirm that it was made by us in our workshop in the 80's. I still have one like this in my collection.
Best regards
Fulvio
Del Tin Armi Antiche”

So there we have it! I’m very excited to have another one of theirs in my collection.
Well, I was at least half rigth :)
It is a very nice Schiavona, but I'm generally a fan of DelTins swords, they are a niche of the market I really appreciate
Your third picture,
shows the old del tin squiggle mark partially just above the guard bar,
nice piece,
very nice of Fulvio to get back to you,
for any interested,
there are a few available pieces listed on their site, they have also listed some older pieces to sell of late,20-30 years old,
