Howdy! I'm a complete noob when it comes to Eastern European weapons, but recently I spent too much time on youtube so now I have a new itch.
So what Polish Saber makers would yall recommend for a sharp sword and a blunt for HEMA? If they can both come from the same then more the better. Looking for 17-18 cent. styles.
For the sharp I prefer accurate, well made swords over flashy stuff, similar to an Albion or Lockwood level of quality.
The blunt just needs to handle well and be tough.
Thanks for any suggestions!

I have some sabers by Tomek Kowmal and he is one of the absolute best in the business. However, I don't think he is taking orders right now. He's also priced a bit higher than Albion, Lockwood, etc, but well worth the quality.
I would suggest Krieger Historical sabers on facebook at https://www.facebook.com/Krieger.weapons/
and Silkfencing, also from Poland https://silkfencing.pl/products
Both those makers are from Poland and actively train saber fighting HEMA. I've not heard a bad review. Silkfencing also has some youtube videos.
I would not suggest the Cold Steel Polish Saber for training, it's a bit too heavy, but it isn't a bad weapon overall. Same caveat for the Del Tin Hussar Saber.

Jindrich Figura comes well recommended and he seems to care about the authenticity of his work.

Like I said above, Tomek looks great! Thanks for the recommendation! And I actually do have some synthetic sabers coming in from Silkfencing. I do like the look of their sabers, it's just been impossible to find any reviews on their steel swords.
And ya, the cold steel saber looks lice, but that weight is insane.

Those look very nice as well! And the prices seem veryyyyyyyyyyyyyy nice for the quality. I'll look around for some reviews.
Thanks again for the help yall, these are some great swordsmiths! I still have a few months before I can start buying swords (currently in a country that has a borderline insane fear of all weapons) again, so plenty of time to get it figured out.

I've heard good things about HistoricalMarket/CCS Silesia but admittedly my own sabers are yet to arrive. I'll update based on impressions.

I can wholeheartedly recommend Jindrich, my sword arrived on schedule, communication was good, price was very reasonable, fit, finish, and handling all very good!
