My favorite is my customized Atrim XIIa.

This is "Skautrir" by Jeff Helmes. It's definitely my favorite.

That's my favorite so far. Jeff is real master. I've been creeping this thread but having trouble selecting one of my own.
That is an elegant sword !
I've got a few I can't choose between, like my Helmes Korsoygaden, the A&A type O in my avatar, or the Pikula Swedish Viking I picked up from Tim. So instead I'll show the one I just got today. It's definitely up there. Its a version of the Steinvik sword from Sun and Stars / Hopkins forges. It was completed this year as a commission to another forumite, and already passed through a couple of hands before me, so it may be familiar. I hope to keep it for a good while. I'm not usually into fancy inlay and pattern welding, but in this case it's necessary for historical accuracy. Underneath it all, its just a big, badass Viking sword.

That's pretty frickin' sweet. That sword doesn't normally do it for me, but that in hand shot really shows off how big and bling'd it is.

Yep, at 34" long and 2.25" wide, that blade is the size of a big knightly type X. But it's thin and relatively light.
WOW! That’s phenomenal Doug!

What a treasure. I have been seeing some nice Viking swords of late so I think I’m feeling an itch....
