Thats really nice! I have long wanted something similar but with a red grip and a bronze guard and fishtail pommel!
Finally got the A & A Black Price I’ve been eying for about a decade. Knew what I was getting in terms of fit / finish / aesthetics, and it lived up to my expectations 100%. What surprised me a bit was the handling; this sword feels absolutely spectacular in the hand, effortlessly moving through guards and drills. This, quite simply, IS the Fiore longsword IMO. It’s also, despite the weight, very comfortable in one hand. It performs surprising well as a cutter, provided my edge alignment is good. Thrusts are simply effortless, the point goes exactly where you want it to almost without even paying attention.

Finally, kudos to Craig for being so awesome to deal with. Pandemic or no, he answered multiple emails pretty much immediately and had my sword in my hand two weeks to the day from when I ordered it. Just another reminder of why A & A is such a staple in the industry.
My last sword I got is a Atrim 1557 with custom scabbard. Sweet sword and has become my favorite as of late. I really love those XVIII blades.

One of my last swords Early and rather short saber for a Chasseur a Cheval.

Engraved with "Officier de chasseur a Cheval 23e regiment" and the initials of the owner "CS/SC". After checking the records of the regiment, the only matching officer was a Sebastian Colleaux. Born 16/7/1767 at Seine-et-Oise ; Marolles joined the regiment in 1792 rising to the rank of Lieutenant. He was awarded the Legion d'honneur in 1814. discharged 1815. in 1813 „Bloqué a Magdebourg“.

It was a regular model. The Wulflund Regnier: https://www.wulflund.com/weapons/swords/medieval-swords/regnier-pracstise-two-handed-sword.html/

Sadly it's discontinued as far as I know.

Could it be a Del Tin sword? It looks very similar to some of their 14th century blades.

That’s my guess. I’m not aware of any Italian made blades sold by MRL that weren’t Del Tin.

It did come with leather sheath, which Del Tin's did not.. I'm thinking a very early MR when they did use Del Tin blades or sold Del Tins..

Anyone have a early 90's ML catalogs because it does look familiar, I'm just not able to find photos online of this one to know specifically what it is or called, it was listed as, or the price back then..

Made In Italy on the blade pic and this looks Del Tin
