I have for sale a shield modeled after the dimensions of the surviving shield of Teutonic Order commander of Liederbach (1250-1300). The original is housed in the Marburg Museum, and outlined in Jan Kohlmorgen’s Die Mittelalterlische Reiterschild.
The version I have. For sale is 37” long, 21” wide, and has a curve of 2.25”. It is a plywood base covered in linen canvas. Padded arm rest, and multi-strap configuration on back for use with different grips (including riding) and even
allows the use of a two handed spear. Also features adjustable guige and arm straps.
