I picked this up at a pawn shop 3 years ago and finally with the help of David Lewis Smith have narrowed it down to possibly being a Polish Sabre. I have gone through thousands of pictures online and my eyes are ready to fall out. From what I can gather I think it may be a Polish Hussar Sabre.
Can anyone narrow it down or give me more info on it? I do not have the scabbard.
Thanks in advance for any help!

Saber of the Hussars beginning of the 19th century France, period of the Napoleonic wars. The Napoleonic wars indirectly contributed to the struggle for national liberation in Poland, Belgium, Italy and the Balkans. Stormy period of Europe. The Polish Legions fought alongside Napoleon in wars with Austria, Russia, Spain in Italy and Prussia. The shape of the saber may suggest borrowing from a Polish weapon from the period of the power of the Polish state from the 16th to the 17th century.

Wow!

Thank you so much! I am hoping to find the exact one either online or in print so I know exactly what year and from where.

This gives me such much to follow up on.

I added you on Facebook as well!

It's nice. Thank you.
I think it will be difficult to find in the internet resources.
This is a very interesting specimen of a saber.
If you manage to find, please share the information.
Greetings Tomek
