I just bought this from Battlemerchant and honestly for a cheapish replica of a chain coif its really pretty awesome looking. Only question I have is the Aluminum care. I realize it does not rust but it does oxidize. Any ideas how to clean\preserve it? It has a few white spot areas and I think that is oxidation.

Aluminium is highly reactive. You need that coating of oxide on the surface to protect it.

So I don't need to do anything with it care-wise other than clean once in a great while?
I have read that about the oxide but if the entire thing becomes white I don't think I will like the look. Never had aluminum armor before so no idea how to care for it but I did notice it didn't appear oil treated when it arrived like others usually are.
It's only for costume\display purposes though as aluminum isn't that strong compared to steel i don't believe.

Oil it.
Then all of your clothing gets that authentic, dirty, oily look that comes with wearing real mail.
