I've finished the RSW version of Giant Silvia yesterday and put it to test. It requires a different tactic than DS Dadao that I had been using for long. For example, it doesn't do tip defense very well due to the length being too long and flexible, and would not feint very fast because of that as well. So I have to use "core technique" by feinting with the hip and do "forte defense" most of the time. However, once adapted, it is pretty good in helping the survival rate because of its reach.
