Somehow I can't find them. I know of dozens of paintings from the Iberian Peninsula, but Italian ear daggers are hiding from me.
I can only find photos of original or replica daggers, but not a single painting, sculpture or whatever thing made in the XV/XVIth centuries showing them.

I can think of a few examples, all from around 1510-30.
A portrait by Bernardino dei Conti:
Callisto Piazza's "Musicians":
Albrecht Durer includes one in his illustration of battle trophies won by the Emperor Maximilian in Italy:
Durer's assistant, Hans Schaufelein, also drew one... maybe in imitation?

Used to the "older" Iberian examples, they have certain fanciness...
Lloyd, thanks, but being part of the National Art Museum of Catalonia, and judging some details, could be another Iberian painting.
