Combo cuts on PPR cored target
https://youtu.be/Dp80j0mM6Uc
I seldom put out test cut videos where I do combo cuts, because I do not want to become a "flashy test cutter" and lost the practical application value of the exercise. However, being capable of executing left and right diagonal cuts combo with the correct path, edge alignment, accuracy, 3-steps-accelerations and top speed zone allocation, is very important in a 1 vs multiple opponents situation. So I did a test cut today with right and left combo, performed with a mixture of yin and yang power generation, with 3-steps-accelerations and with the high speed zone put on the target, to inspire the students to advance on their skill.

The newspapers roll target was cored with PPR pipe.
My student Wing Li managed to pull off a short cut on PPR piping cored newspapers roll target.

Walking combo cuts, cutting upper arm difficulty targets made of PPR piping and newspapers roll while walking through.

For those who are interested in how to make such targets, I've make an instructional video here:

Students test cut on PPR piped targets.
Wing Li was experimenting with the minimum effort to cut such targets and despite the stand falling, he cut them very well.

Desun and Maxwell were using Longship Armoury swords.

MK was using cold steel grosse messer that I sharpened.

Anderson was the one cutting water bottles.

They all did good.

experimenting with a new right to left horizontal cut.

Finished the new horizontal cut, applicable to both left and right direction. The new method made use of a floating grip that shifts during the cut. It increases the accuracy, power and range of the cut, while decreasing the need of waist power.
