Recently came across this sword, think its an 1853 Pattern sword, but has no marking except some Indian/Arabic letters near the hilt, can anybody help?
Can't seem to upload a picture?

Looks like numbers. Could be 92, could be 29 (although I'd favour 92 given the usual direction of writing in Arabic and other languages that use the Arabic script).

I have been told it is Gujerati for 51, and that was its rack number, interesting item though

Well, I guess it can be 51 if it's not Arabic at all. I'm not familiar with the Gujarati script so I wouldn't be able to tell.
