I've had an eye on this helm for a long time, but I am SO confused. Confused MRL says it's 26''----KoA says it's 22''----Hal, from Therion Arms says it's 24-1/2''. WTF?! Does anyone here actually have one? That's a good price...but, damn....I hate re-boxing and returns. Anyone? WTF?! ......McM

One of the reviews on the MRL page says it has a 24 inch inner circumference. That's way too small for my big head.

Yeah, I know. I read them all...and every other review I could find. Sounds like barely enough to get it on my 23-1/2'' melon, much less a mail coif...which is a MUST HAVE. I'll pass. Besides, Lord of Battles is coming out with some new stuff lately. I'm eye-balling a Great Helm really seriously. Big Grin ....McM

Brother, it is supposed to be a Viking helm...I don"t think that there were allot of mail coifs at the time. So quit making excuses and just buy one!!

I have one of these jerkins. It is of high quality, and I recommend it. The straps in front may not lay flat, but otherwise it is a good piece.

Actually, the Stiklestad normally sells for $245... When I first looked , it WAS shown as normally costing $345, but apparently MRL caught the error ans corrected it.
