Well it came on Weds. Had only two pictures left on my crap-ola camera ....so here goes
First pic the Darkwood is in the 4th sword down....
1st - Hanwei Mortuary
2nd - Armour Class Mortuary
3rd - MRL Scottish Back-sword
4th - Darkwood Armory Side-sword
5th - Von Sussen Swept-hilt
6th - el-cheapo basket-hilt

Second pic is very blurry . . sorry.. as I said P-O-S camera.
It's at the photographers now for good studio shots..due to the weather, I could get over there to pick up this week-end. Better shots next for sure...

Nice piece, the proportions of the sword look very nice. How does it handel? I have a rapier on order with Darkwood and I can't wait to see what Scott does with it.

Which blade did they install? As I recall, there are choices on the Darkwood site. Also, what AVN number is it?

Thanks one and all (and yes Chris, I'll bring it Weds. for you looking pleasure) Like I said...sorry for the blurred pic, will post better one's next week when I get it back from the photographer.

Steve, This is listed by Darkwood as ABVN #41 Arms & Sidering sword. It has a 37" Del-Tin back-sword blade with finger notch mounted to the hilt. From first impressions, handles quite lovely, indeed.

Good choice, Bill. One of these days I'm going to pick up a Darkwood with a flexible sidesword blade. Unfortunately, there are so many other sword purchases that will have to take precedence first... but one of these days...

Off topic here sorry Bill, but those two mortuary hilts look great in your first post. The Armour Class is something I'm seriously considering buying. They have a few options too and I really like the fancy Cromwell one

Hi Adam,

Your never "off topic" when it comes to Mortuary talk with me. Straight up, the Armour Class is such a sweet sword.
Can't begin to tell you how much I love this sword. Like in the review, this thing handles SO nice, it's just a pure joy everytime I pick it up.
