Hi!
Haven't been around this forum for a while but I can't think of a better collection of people who might have seen this display of swords. I am interested in the sword in the middle of the rack. It's guard and pommel are similar to those Peter Johnnson designed for the Albion Marozzo product.
What I would really like to know is:
Where is this?
What are the blade dimensions, etc?
Who might have taken the photos?
The photos are tagged August or September, 2006 with a Canon camera. My file seems to have been created March 2016, which I suppose is when I found the images.
Can anyone help me out with this search?
Thanks!

The most I can tell you is that it's a Type X Oakeshott blade but with a very short fuller.
Or you can just say it's a typical 16th Century Broadsword blade.
But the hilt though, due to the lack of ornate protection, I would date it to the very late 15th to very early 16th century.

If you are going to apply an Oakeshott type to that blade, by far the most appropriate would be Type XIX.

If I'm correct, Alexander's description refers to sword no. 2.
Its blade says something on it.
