For Sale: Michael Pikula Type G Viking Sword, corrected
This listing is marked SOLD and is no longer available

I am offering this fantastic Michael Pikula single edge Viking sword. This is one of my all time favorite swords with a type G hilt.

But it came with several issues, as did the others in this series.

All I have seen, including the one recently sold has a slightly angled tang and poor handle. The blade Michael made is beautiful, but the fitting needed upgrading, since this was a very early work.

I sent the sword to Ernie, who redefined the definition on the guard and pommel, straightened the tang and made a much better handle. He also made one of his outstanding scabbards. See here.

Sword weighs 2.12LB 36.5 long with a 30.75 inch mono steel blade. Although the blade is in excellent condition there is a tiny mark that came on the blade when new.

Price is $1400 delivered in US. Payment by check or Postal MO. Paypal is available if you really want it at an extra 3%

Sword
This listing is marked SOLD and is no longer available

Hi, too much rain to take new photos but I have had a few questions.

The Sword weighs in at 2 LB 12 OZ

The bridge on the scabbard does have a slot in it for the suspension.

Yes, I am happy to work with a payment plan especially in this economy. I have recently sold some swords that way.

The handle is 3 and 5/8 inches long.

Happy Holidays All
