The type 3 crossguard has been described as "short" does anybody have any sample measurements of its dimensions?

I do not have any sample measurements of the crossguard's dimensions.

Lots of sources will give overall and blade lengths, in my experience it's rare to find even the best sources giving cross dimensions. That guard type shows up frequently enough on type XI swords (types X, XII, and XIII too, just not as frequently I think), you might be able to get a pretty accurate measure by proportioning a printed photo - get the cross width by comparing it to blade width, grip/ hilt length, or some other given or more easily estimated dimension.
Hopefully someone with more academic experience will spot this thread and give you a better answer.
