We had fun sharing a bunch of rondel daggers on our Facebook page this last week.

Shown below are many of them all composited together to show them to relation to one another. We hope to demonstrate the variety that can be found..

Please note that the daggers were all photographed at different times and in different places so their individual perspectives may be slightly different; however, we believe it's still a good indication of general shape and size of each one.

On Facebook, we have a much larger version of the graphic and full details for each of the individual pieces. Please browse our Facebook photo albums to see larger photos of each dagger that include a description, measurements, and copyright information.

Yesterday marked the anniversary of the Battle of Poitiers that took place in 1356. This last week was "14th Century Week" on the myArmoury.com Facebook page and we shared a bunch of 14th century swords for you to view all week.

Shown below are most of the ones we shared. We composited them together to show them to scale to one another in hopes of demonstrating the immense diversity seen during this period.

Please note that the swords were all photographed at different times and in different places so their individual perspectives may be slightly different; however, we believe it's still a good indication of general shape and size of each one.

On Facebook, we have a much larger version of the graphic and full details for each of the individual pieces. Please browse our Facebook photo albums to see larger photos of each sword that include a description, measurements, and copyright information.

These last two weeks we shared photos and information for a large group of Viking Age styled swords on our Facebook page. The image below shows a composite of some of them together and scaled appropriately. We do this in hopes of demonstrating the immense diversity history has given us.

We just finished "Landsknecht Week" on our Facebook page which saw us sharing a bunch of photos and information for a large group of Landsknecht edged weapons.

The image below is a composite of most of them together and scaled appropriately. Of all the group shots we've done so far, this really shows the immense variety history left us! Not only are they diverse in their sizes, their lavish ornamentation is all over the map.

Please note that the items were all photographed at different times and in different places so their individual perspectives may be slightly different; however, we believe it's still a good indication of general shape and size of each one.

On Facebook, we have a much larger version of the graphic and full details for each of the individual pieces. Please browse our Facebook photo albums to see larger photos of each sword that include a description, measurements, and copyright information.

This week features 12th Century Swords on myArmoury.com's Facebook page.

We'll also put some focus on the year 1066 to observe the upcoming anniversary of the Battle of Hastings.

It's going to be pretty mellow. I need a little break after last week's huge number of updates.

Another week down and we ended up sharing a bunch of 15th century styled swords on our Facebook page this last week. This image shows a composite of most of them together and scaled appropriately. We focused on just a slice of what that century left us and yet, looking at this image shows still a tremendous amount of variety.

Please note that the swords were all photographed at different times and in different places so their individual perspectives may be slightly different; however, we believe it's still a good indication of general shape and size of each one.

We don't really have a theme this week on the myArmoury.com Facebook page. We'll just share random things and fill out some of the areas that we've been building.

Featured here is a an Eastern European sword from the first half of the 14th century. Its blade is inlaid with gold marks that look strangely familiar, almost as if it reads "myArmoury" or something. How weird!

There's more info and photos of the sword in our Facebook Photo Albums.

This last week we cataloged another 30+ pieces of arms and armour. Among them were a bunch of new rondel daggers. Here's an image of a group of them composited together and scaled appropriately.

Please note that the daggers were all photographed at different times and in different places so their individual perspectives may be slightly different; however, we believe it's still a good indication of general shape and size of each one.

On Facebook, we have a much larger version of the graphic and full details for each of the individual pieces. Please browse our Facebook photo albums to see larger photos of each sword that include a description, measurements, and copyright information.

I'm taking this next couple weeks off but will still share a few things here and there.
