I'm going for a short visit in Berlin by the end of this month. Any collections, exhibitions or displays of arms & armor in Berlin? Good stores for the subject?

Hi,

of course there is. Deutsches Historisches Museum, dedicated to German history beginning with Roman times up to the 20th century. Some fantastic swords, armour and loads of other interesting stuff. They even have got Napoleons hat, as far as I remember, brought back from Waterloo....

All else, see here: https://www.dhm.de/
or, to give a famous example: http://dhm.de/datenbank/dhm.php?seite=5&fld_0=AK004349

I love that museum, did I say that?

Best wishes and have a nice stay in Berlin,

Mark

Great, I had this museum on sights anyhow, so it sure helps, thanks a lot. From the few exhibits on the web page (collection Militaria I) it seems I will encounter many famous published objects from books.
