Jonathan Sarge of crusadermonk.com has been my go-to-guy for awhile now and perhaps this is an inappropriate question, let me know if it is; but now that he is away for a year, I'm curious if anyone here is doing similar work of similar good quality, and at similar prices.

Thanks, Jon

I don't have experience with them yet, but the price seems to be in the same range as crusadermonk

Li Fu Xiang, thanks, Celtic Fury looks quite good. Where are they located?

Jon

[edit:
found them: Ingleside, IL
I definitely have some work for them.]

I Could not find anything about turn around time on their services. Has anyone here used them before?

Waiting times are an issue with everyone.

'Tis a good time to learn the art of scabbard making yourself.

Thanks all for the input. I'm sending out a couple of swords this week to Celtic Fury for some work.

I'm so glad this topic is here! I've been thinking about having some scabbards made for a long time. Celtic Fury looks like the perfect place to do it! I'll probably be sending a couple of blades there very soon. He's got a pretty good deal going.

In case anyone was wondering, I ended up sending three of my Albions to Celtic Fury to have scabbards made for them. This guy has been doing this kind of work for a long time and he really seems to have his process down. He's been really good on communication, too. Progress has been good, and I think I'll have the scabbards in hand very soon. I'll try and get some pics up if I can remember, once I get the finished product.

I received my two swords from Celtic Fury (grip wraps) and let me say that 'Murphy' does first rate work.
Most impressive & highly recommended.
