Medieval knives and daggers
Been in to blades lately, here are some photos of sharp things recently made. Blades are of simple carbon steel (15LM) with a convex edge of 18-25degrees.

I love the baselard! Is the pommel peened with a block, or do I see tang?

- Edit -

I answered my own question while looking at your "for sale" thread for this beautiful dagger!
The first is now mine and a wonderful tool. I made som woodcarving and fletching with it at Battle of Wisby last week and fell in love with it.
Mr. Schütz,

the Aunlaz is really great. I wish all modern repros of this dagger type had this distinctive medieval look. Sadly, most of them look overbuilt and to much machined. But not this one!

Thomas
