Anyone heard from Manning Imperial lately?
I've e-mailed them about a possible order and haven't heard back as of yet.
Does anyone know if they're currently taking orders?

I heard from them about a month ago. Unfortunately I had to cancel a custom order so there might be a spot open. When I contacted them in June, they had an 11 month waiting period. Don't know what it is now.
Communication was easy and Cherilyn was very responsive to my e-mails. Shrug. Maybe try e-mailing them again.

Hi Patrick,
My experience with Manning Imperial is that if they are taking orders and/or interested in the project, you get an e-mail back very quickly, or at least within a week.
If they are too busy or booked, you seem to just not get an e-mail. That's just my experience.
I put in an order back in August, though. Wait on that item at that time looked to be about a year.

Thanks for the feedback guys.
Nate,
I've had that experience with them a couple of other times in the past, in that they've never responded.

This was in reference to the helmet order we discussed this evening. I went ahead and ordered the Hanwei Sutton Hoo instead, so we'll see how that goes.

Had pretty much the same experience contacting them. A month or so later I did get a reply back to see if I was still interested, unfortunatly by that time I had placed an order else where.

If that winds up being the case I may go ahead and place an order with MI. I was interested in their Gjermundbu helmet which isn't a huge outlay of cash.

I did hear from Manning Imperial.
Their waiting time is 11 months, and they won't install a leather suspension in the helmet I was interested in.
So much for that.
