Hurts to do it, but I'm selling my custom breast from Mercenary's Tailor. I commissioned this from Allan inspired by munition infantry breasts of ca. 1500. I think the example I showed him was English or Flemish from the time of Henry VIII.
As I hope you can see here, this is a one-piece breast with pendant fauld. The lames of the fauld are articulated on internal leathers and the lame terminals rise and fall on sliding rivets. Neck and arms feature a narrow simple turn. Interior is painted black as a preservative.
This breast is made to my measure and can be adjusted to some degree. I am 6'1", wear a slim 42 reg. suit and wear a 35" modern waist. The waist of the breast should, of course, fall on your natural waist, in line with your naval. Your natural waist can be compressed significantly, and should be, for a fit that will let your hips carry much of the weight. A belt is essential, and I made a munition quality belt for this breast, included in the price.
I have worn this armour for several hours at a time and find it surprisingly comfortable.
Because MT is no longer in business, this breast is irreplaceable to me and not available to anyone else except through me.
