Hello!
I made a new seax and wanted to share, its a bit special for me, never did some techniques used on this
the blade is forgewelded steel edge to soft back. The spine of the blade is inlayed with two stripes of silver on one side, and Toverlayed with silver pannel on other one. THe panel was created by 6 rowes of wires, spread to touch. I then egraved the panel in Trewhiddle style. The ferule is engraved silver with two saxon dragons. Handle is antler, carved with mythical creatures and floral motives.Scabbard is tooled leather with silver and antler furniture.

OAL is 236 mm
price is 750 USD

Just a quick question: Where did you get the design for the 'mythical creatures' on the handle. Historical design, or your own? I love that. Thanks....McM
