I am searching basically any info on this visor, from which book is the picture with inscription, is it a real 15. century piece, if so would it be fastened to bascinet, sallet, or some other type of helmet, also is it in a museum (which one), private collection, auction house, etc...
Any help would be appreciated

another similar visor, I think the photo was taken in a Bulgarian museum, but could be wrong

Boris, you are not wrong!
The visor is in the Museum of Kardzali.
Unfortunately, it's classified wrongly - as an artifact from the Antiquity  . Otherwise, our re-enactors' assessment for its dating is about 1350-1370 - second half of the 14. C

The more I watch this visor, the more it reminds me of this transitional helmet from ending of the 15.century
