This sword is the result of a lack of big singlehanders on the production market except Albion's St. Maurice and Ulvbane, both of which I just can't afford in any nearer future. 
The blade of this sword is customized Hanwei Tinker GSoW blade. It was resharpened and given more profile taper by Alojz Krišto. The fittings and the grip were made entirely by Alojz. The grip is fossilized oak. I think the sword would be best described as a Geibig type 8 blade, Geibig type 18 pommel and Oakeshott type 3 crossguard. A sword such as this one would probably fit best into the second half of a 12th century, although slightly earlier or slightly later would also be possible. Blade is 91cm (35.8") long, 5.5cm (2.16") wide and overall length is 105cm (41.3"). PoB is 20cm (7.87") away from the crossguard. I'm not sure about the weight, I don't have a good scale at the moment. Kult of Athena says original GSoW is 3lb 9.5oz so this sword is a bit lighter than that. It is a bit heavy in hand, but it flows nicely when in motion. I always have troubles locating the forward pivot point but I would say it's at about half of the blade.

Thanks guys! This (the bottom one) was the primary inspiration though the pommel came out a bit different, more flat and with a more raised top part:

This one turned out very nice indeed. How do you like the handling? I do quite like the profile taper and point shape.

Thanks! I like the handling because I like swords I can swing, feel powerful and think "this would be a devastating cut". : But recovery wouldn't be the best. And short but comfortable grip definitely helps with handling... I would love to try this sword out on some targets when mounted...
