Hello all!
I'm wondering if anyone has any information on the sword that inspired Albion's Tritonia. I understand it is at the Museum of Medieval Stockholm, but can't seem to find anything beyond just what Albion's Tritonia page lists. I'm very interested in the R type pommel, particularly as I've come into an iron sphere that looks more and more like a pommel every time my eye lands on it. Most interesting to me is that the original Tritonia has a pommel with a tang hole that is too wide by a millimeter on either side, and has been shimmed with wooden slats!
I'd love to know if anyone has specs or photos of the original. I believe Albion's Count also has roots in an R pommeled sword. Their page says the original was "found in the banks of Fyris river in Uppsala, Sweden." I would also welcome information on this sword if anyone has it.
All the best,
Kevin
