I wasn't aware of those, so I had to look them up. They are beautiful, and weigh in a bit over 7 lbs. they are pricier, but they look to be worth it, at least from the stats, and photos. Not to crazy about the abrupt transition from ricasso to blade, but that's just me, the originals they're based on could be the same.

I still want someone to come out with a Montante. Zwiehanders get all glory.

one incentive to get a 1.5m montante as opposed to a 1.7m zweihander is that the montante has direc mention in the literature in terms of how your meant to wield it

ill also agree wih jean regarding lutels polearms. alo of them are very nice.

i also would love to buy one of those hurlbats and a few of hose pultipointed throwing knives especially the hurlba, just to se howi behaves when thrown at things.
i do also remember seeing manning imperial's two handers as well, but they haven't stuck with me as much as lutel's. anytime i see a price tag of over 1,000 i just have to put it out of my mind. there's just far too many other things that i can justify getting with that much cash - repairs for my truck, tools for my shop etc.

lutel has good looking stuff no question, but ever since lutel split i've been cautious of getting attached to any of their items. but as i understand the trouble with that has been over for some time now but buying from KOA would make me feel more comfortable.

Ditto on that even though I had several very smooth transactions with Lutel directly (many years ago) before the troubles...
Hello all,
Just a quick info to avoid all speculations :-)

1.It is us Lutel-handicraft who cooperates with KoA
2.Swords you can see on Koa web is first part of bigger order, there will come more of our products, daggers, few rapiers, some longswords etc.
Unfortunately no two-handers :-(
Maybe in the next order...if you show Ryan enough of your interest... ;-)

I'm planning to go to Kult of Athena this fall, so I'll be sure to mention polearm heads. Had my eye on several polearm head from Lutel-handicraft, but I really like to be able to see and handle pieces in person before buying. At least the first time from a new vendor.
Years ago I owned several Lutel products, several axes and impact weapons but no swords. They're all a bit anachronistic in their finer details, but are solid and well made. One particular axe was very cool and I wish I had it back. I think they're a very good value in their price point. That katzbalger would sure go well with my Albion Maximilian.
