2nd half of the 14th century
Double-edged cutting blade with a shallow fuller on both sides. Straight quillons with a square cross-section with bevelled edges. Broad, slightly tapered tang with a sturoly octagonal p

A German or Central European knightly hand and a half sword
after 1400
Narrow, double edged thrusting blade with a flattened central ridge (restored break on the lower quarter). Quadrangular straight quillons, narrow quadrangular tang, heavy disk pommel

Well, from those pictures, I can tell that the first one is most probably quite typical XIIa while second one is XVII.

Both still have certain elegance in their lines, were probably very graceful weapons when they were new.

Where did you find those pictures and descriptions?
