Hello everybody, I need your help. I've got late 15th century kit of heavy soldier in milanese style.
I'm wondering about elbows which will match with it. The only what I saw is that pair from

http://www.tomala.lublin.pl/index.php?strona=...mp;lng=eng (number 7)

but personally I never have seen similar on the pictures, sculptures etc. so I' mnot sure that it will be historically correct.
May some of you have informations about what italian soldier could wear on elbows (plate armour)?
I wont use typical milanese arms because I am soldier not knight. Can somebody help me?

Cheers,
Mike from Poland

There was a thread from 2 years ago about Extant 15th century Milanese armour that may be worth looking at:

Topic about gothic armours gives me more informations for example:

a) Muse des Armes 1475-1500 http://i84.photobucket.com/albums/k26/Bwaze/G...Strong.jpg
b) Leeds Royal Armuries

Yesterday I found something interesting. How about those guys?

1) http://aldwarf.io.ua/album174933
2) http://aldwarf.io.ua/album340093
3) http://aldwarf.io.ua/album152091

Personally I am thinking more about the last one.
